The Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida hosted a clash of epic proportions on February 7.  The Indianapolis Colts squared off against the New Orleans Saints for the prestigious Vince Lombardi trophy and their Super Bowl rings; but more importantly, the honor of becoming the defending NFL Champions next year.

The Super Bowl has proved to be a perfect annual event to celebrate. Super Bowl parties are a common event among families.

“Every year I watch the Super Bowl with my family.” sophomore Dylan Scoby said.

The diversity of the game allows not only the sports interested people to be entertained, commercials and appearances of the famous are a typical reason for more views.

“I usually just watch for the commercials.” freshman Sydney Niernberger said.

Companies pay millions of dollars to air their most entertaining commercials during the game which enhance their sales a vast amount.
