The novel “Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read.

The sweet romance with a bittersweet taste gets me bawling like a baby even when I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. The main character Sarah, who later had her name changed to Angel, was born into a home raised by a single mother who struggled to earn Sarah’s father back.

Sarah grew up to love flowers. When her mother died, around Sarah’s age of eleven, she was sold to a rich man, Duke, who did not take good care of her and changed her name to Angel.

When Angel escaped from Duke, she went into prostitution and when a man, Michael who happens to be the dreamiest man in the world, saw her, he knew instantly they would be in love. He tried and tried to get her, but nothing worked until Angel, who is very stubborn, was beat up by the owner of the brothel.

He took her to her home and they struggled together and she knew she didn’t deserve him. She fought her way through love and couldn’t let him in her heart. Whenever she became to feel vulnerable, she would leave and he would, being the man he is, go find her and bring her home.

Reading this book changed my perspective on many things. It helped me realize what was important to me and how you cannot let go of anything.

There was plenty of excitement from the very beginning to the last word. I definitely recommend this book to all Christians and non-Christians.

The novel is literally the number one book I have ever read.
