International Club to meet on Tuesday

Foreign exchange students from The Peoples Republic of China will give a presentation about their Homeland and National Day at the International Club’s next meeting Sept. 29 in the Lecture Hall.
The meeting will also include a taste of a traditional, Chinese vegetarian meal. The meal will be served at 6:45 p.m. The meal was funded by members volunteering at game concession stands.
“We have had great success with the concession stand fundraiser so far,” International Club sponsor Anne Adams said.“We will be accepting more volunteers for the basketball and wrestling season in November.”
Brenda Soto, vice president of programs, will also be accepting T-shirt designs for this year’s club at the first meeting in Oct. 8, which will be about Nigeria.
Cost to join the club is $5.
