Senior Megan Bird got a hat trick in the girls 5-1 route of Liberal. Liberal got the first goal but Bird tied the game up just before the half. The baseball team went 1-1 in its first home game of the season. Hays won the first game, 3-1, led by the pitching of Senior Hayden Hutchison who pitched a complete game giving up just two hits.
