Girls' cross country takes third at home

The girls’ cross country team competed on Sept. 7 at the Hays High Invitational. They took third place overall with four medal winners.
With a time of 16:11.27 sophomore Madeline Kasra placed fourth. Two places behind her was senior Kylie Gaughan with a time of 16:44.02. A tenth place finish was from senior Ellie Kasra who finished with a time of 17:08.09. Sophomore Bailey Zimmerman finished with a time of 17:14.91, with a 12th place title.
In front of the lady Indians was Great Bend and Junction City.
Next action for them will be Sept. 26 at KU’s Rim Rock Invitational.
