Boys basketball beats South in thriller

The boy’s basketball team won 55-51 on Tuesday against Salina South.
At half time of the game the Indians were leading 26-15, outscoring South by six in the first quarter and five in the second quarter.
The Indians were outscored in the second half of the game 36-30; South outscored them by two in the third quarter and four in the fourth quarter.
Senior Bryant Bombardier hit some key free throws down the stretch making 4-of-5 in the fourth quarter.
Senior Jordan Niernberger led the team in points with 11, while Senior Dexter Pfeifer led the team in rebounds with seven.
The next basketball action is Friday at Garden City.
