The boys soccer team defeated Buhler 2-1 for the teams third win of the season.
With seven minutes left in the first half senior Tanner Staab had the first goal of the game when he put the ball in the back of the net after it bounced around inside the box.
Buhler then scored with two minutes left in the first half to even the score at one-a-piece.
In the second half sophomore Jordan Windholz scored on a header off of a ball into the box from junior Kellen Griffin.
Senior Hunter Wilkens made a big save with less than a minute left in the game to seal the victory.
“I felt extremely relieved after the save, but was still worried for the corner that they (Buhler) had,” Wilkens said.
The next game for the team is against Junction City on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
