Freshman Brady Werth had six blocks in the Indians 40-30 loss to Garden City.

Other than that Werth was relatively quiet, along with the rest of the team, with four points and four rebounds.

The team shot 5-of-18 from three-point range and just 12-of-36 from the field.

The Indians also managed just two free-throw opportunities all night.

Sophomore Jordan Windholz led the team in scoring with 11 points.

Hays is now 4-5 as the team heads into the Dodge City Tournament of Champions on Thursday, Jan. 19. The Indians play Dodge City in the first round at 8:15 p.m.
