Ladies lose last game of McPherson tournament to host team

The ladies were unable to maintain their winning streak on the final game day against McPherson. The girls didn’t lose in a blowout game. The final score was 42-52.

In the first quarter, the ladies pulled ahead with the score ending 9-13. The score at the end of the half was 24-25 with the lady Indians ahead.

Seniors Hanna Pfannenstiel and Paige Lunsford led the team in percentage of three-point shots made. Pfannenstiel had 50 percent and Lunsford had 25 percent. Lunsford had the most turnovers in the game with six and Pfannenstiel followed with four.

McPherson made a run in the third quarter with the score ending 44-31. The ladies won two of three games at the McPherson tournament, causing two teams that were undefeated to suffer a defeat.
