Soccer claims WAC title

2005 was the last year the girls soccer team won a WAC title. With its win over Dodge City the girls have now claimed at least a share of the crown.
The girls defeated the Red Demons 6-2.
Dodge scored first in the second minute to lead 1-0. Hays then put three goals away to make it 3-1 at half.
Junior Taylor Herman then claimed the goal scored in a season record putting away her second goal of the game in the second half.
In the second half the Indians outscored the Red Demons 3-1 for the final 6-2 score.
Junior Bree Kiser also scored twice in the game.
The next game for the ladies is Tuesday, May 8 against Newton.
