Boys basketball defeated by Garden City

The boys basketball team admitted its second defeat of the season to Garden City, losing 58-46 on Jan. 16. The Indians now have a 7-2 record on the year.

Ending the first quarter up 16-10, the Indians were then outscored by the Buffalos and entered the final quarter with a 45-35 disadvantage going into the final period.

Brady Werth led the scoring with 23 points. Isaiah Nunnery was also in double digits with 15 points, six assists and two steals. Cash Hobson added four points to the board and both Nathan Romme and Drew Young added two.

The Indians next competition is the Colby tournament starting on Jan. 21.
