Boys basketball beat the Buffalos, 47-39

The boys basketball team defeated the Garden City Buffalos, 47-39, on Feb. 20. The Indians now have a 12-6 overall record on the year.

Ending the first quarter up 10-7, the Indians fought to keep their lead against the Buffalos over the next two periods to enter the final quarter up 34-21. The Indians scored 13 points in the final period, and the Buffalos only scored eight.

Isaiah Nunnery had 16 points on the board, the leading scorer for this game. Brady Werth was also in double digits with 10 points. Keith Dryden and Shane Berens had eight and six points respectively. Cash Hobson and Nathan Romme each had three and Maddux Winter rounded out the scoring with one.

The Indians next compete at Dodge City on Feb. 24.
