Indian golfers take third place at the Bob Blazer Invitational April 20.

The Indians compiled an 18 hole total of 329 at the Bob Blazer Invitational en route to a third place at Smokey Hill Country Club.

Hays finished behind Garden City in first with a total of 312, followed by Hutchinson with 327. Other teams competing were Great Bend, 354; Salina Central, 359, Junction City, 365; Dodge City, 369, Liberal, 369; Salina South, 378, and Goodland, 379; and Hays “B”, 399.

Individual medalists were Payton Ruder in fifth with a 79, Nathan Romme in seventh with a 79, and Cash Hobson in ninth place with an 80. Justin McCullick and Peyton Kieffer both shot a 91, and Allen Zollinger carded a 92.

The Indians will go to the Dodge City Invitational April 23.
