Girls golf takes second at regionals

The girls golf team placed second at the 4A Regionals Tournament on Oct. 10 in Ulysses.

In team scores, Larned scored 359 to take first place. Hays took second with a score of 380, followed closely by Goodland in third place with a score of 387. Other team scores include Holcomb 425, Pratt 434, Colby 449, Buhler 515 and Ulysses 527.

Individually, senior Katie Brungardt scored 75 and earned the first place medal. Senior Talyn Kleweno had 97, sophomore Emily George got a score of 102, and sophomore Emily McGuire scored 106. Other scores include sophomore Brittani Park 119 and senior Breanna Park 129.
