Performing a set of traditional Holiday Tunes, The Chamber Singers spread seasonal cheer and goodwill.
“I love going out into the community and performing for places like the banks and nursing homes,” senior Matt Nolte said. “I love to watch the elderly while we are singing. It seems like they get so much joy out of listening to us.”
Additional performances include the Big Brothers Big Sister Telethon, the Cathedral Concert, in Victoria, and the School’s Winter Concert, alongside the Band and Orchestra.
“A ton of work goes into the performances not only vocally, but when we get to the place where we are singing, we have to figure out how we are to stand and get a feel for the acoustics,” Nolte said.
Students feel they put a lot of effort into the performance, but enjoy the payoff.
