The ACT has three test dates: February 7, April 18, and June 13.

There are new qualified admission requirements for Kansas Public 4-year Universities. Now to guarantee admission to a state university a student must have at least a 2.0 GPA and have an ACT composite score of at least 21, or a SAT score of at least 980, or graduate in the top 1/3 of your class.

There are also new qualified admission requirements for students wanting to attend The University of Kansas. They must complete the Kansas Qualified Admissions with a 2.0 GPA or higher and 3.0 or higher overall GPA and 24 or higher ACT/1090 or higher SAT(math and critical reading only), or 3.25 or higher overall GPA and 21 or higher ACT/980 or higher SAT(math and critical reading only). A student must also get a 2.0 GPA or higher on any college credit taken in high school.

To prepare for the ACT students can get a free student preparation booklet available in the Counseling Office, study ACT questions of the day online, do ACT online prep, The Real ACT Prep Guide, Practice test questions, test tips, and test descriptions.

There is an ACT Test Prep on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015 from 6-9:45 p.m.
