Guidon Lit hosts “Six Word Story” contest with a $10 iTunes prize
Hays High Guidon is hosting a “six word story” contest. These stories must be submitted to the Guidon Lit. The prize for first place is a $10 iTunes gift card or a king size candy bar. Second place prize is a king size candy bar. All submissions will be read anonymously for judging. Examples of “six word stories” can be found online. The first place winner’s story will be featured on the front page of the Guidon and school website if desired.
Rules:
- Story must be six words long.
- Story must be submitted to the Guidon Lit.
- Story cannot contain profanities.
- You must include your name in your submission so it is able to be judged, but it can be posted as anonymous.
- Must be original, we will be checking for plagiarism.
- One submission per person.
- All submissions must be entered by Friday, Jan. 29.
- Winners will be announced Feb. 2.
