In Style Clothing

When walking in school, there’s a wide variety of clothing. Sometimes people don’t care and they go ahead and wear pajamas to school. Others put shorts and a T-shirt on every day, while others spend lots of time working on how they’re going to look for the day.

Sophomore Taylor Groen-Younger enjoys wearing casual clothing.

“I like to wear comfortable clothes most of the time,” Younger said.

There are many styles of clothing that are popular amongst girls. Some girls like to wear summer clothes.

“I love summer clothes, shorts, tanks, bandeau’s and flips flops,” junior Summer Smith said. “I really don’t like jeans and coats and all of that.”

Many students often observe other people’s styles and will add a little twist to make it their own.

“I think the way you dress shows what you like and what you don’t like,” sophomore Chelsey Augustine said.

Wearing t-shirts, shorts and flip-flops is what many students would call their casual everyday outfit, but for other students their everyday outfit is pajamas.

Many school events include dress-up days, one of which being pajama day. For the students that wear pajamas to school all the time, these days would be like any other. Because of their different pajama style, some students tend to stand out.

“I think some people dress like that because they are comfortable,” sophomore Brandy Pfeifer said. “Other people do it to get attention because they know they stand out if they wear pajamas.”

Some people think it is because of the laziness factor, while other students think it is because they like how comfortable they are.

“I think it is because of laziness all the way,” junior Abby Shubert said.

All students have their own different taste. Some students like to wear pajamas, while other students like to wear a t-shirt and shorts to show their style. Some students don’t really care and just throw something on for the upcoming day of school.

Everyone has their own personality and reason as to why they dress the way they do. Augustine believes students should have different taste in clothing.

“I don’t think everyone should try to be the same,” Augustine said. “You should just wear clothes that you like and not clothes that are popular.”
