Vera Bradley Craze

Indigo Pop. Va Va Bloom. Doodle Daisy.  While these words may mean nothing to some, they open the doors to a whole world of fashion and style to the devoted Vera Bradley lovers of the world.   The quilted style purses, back packs, totes and other accessories have gained popularity amongst many teenage girls in the last few years.

Senior Mikayla Linn explained what drew her in to the latest style.

“I like all of the fashionable designs and patterns and also the bright colors,” Linn said.

Sophomore Amber Klaus agreed.

“I like all of the different patterns,” Klaus said.

While Vera Bradley offers over 100 different patterns and designs, there’s something out there to match every outfit and to please each girl.

“I like so many of the Vera prints,” Linn said. “However, ‘Twirly Birds Pink’ and ‘Very Berry Paisley’ are my two favorites.”

Klaus opted for a different color scheme and pattern.

“My favorite is ‘Laura in Island Blooms,’” Klaus said.

Besides just making purses and bags, Vera Bradley offers a wide selection of other accessories to choose from, including laptop stickers, bracelets, flip-flops, umbrellas and many other options.

“I have a crossbody purse, a blanket, a make-up bag, an agenda, a pencil bag and a keychain all from Vera Bradley,” Linn said.

Linn discussed one of her favorite items, her Vera tote which she uses as a book bag.

“I decided on a Vera Bradley tote because I can throw my supplies in it fast and it has a cute style,” Linn said. “The pattern on it is ‘Twirly Birds Pink.’”

Klaus chose a Vera tote because she thought it was cute.

“Also, I really wanted a shoulder bag for this year,” Klaus said. “My print on it is ‘Paisley Meets Plaid.’”

Whether chosen for style, ease of use, or simply just because, Vera Bradley items have captured the eyes and hearts of many fashion-loving girls.

“I love everything Vera Bradley,” Linn said.
