A yearly event for orchestra, the Ice Cream Concert, will take place on March 30. There will be free ice cream served after the event which begins at 7:00 p.m. The event is free and open for anyone to attend.
At the concert, students will perform two concert pieces as well as a few others, and it is even open to solos and ensembles.
“We’re going to give two ensembles and a couple of soloists a chance to do their contest pieces,” instructor Joan Crull said. “Contest for them is next week, Saturday.”
According to Crull, the orchestra works to be their best and she doesn’t expect anything less at this concert.
“I think they will rise to the occasion,” Crull said. “They always work very hard.”
