The girls tennis team came away with a first place finish in its season opener on Aug. 25 at Cimarron.
Through the entire meet, the team never lost a match, going a combined 17-0.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better day from our varsity team,” tennis coach Brett Jensen said.
In number one singles action, senior Emily Wyse had five wins to claim her first-place finish.
The number one doubles team of seniors Bonnie McRae and Hanna Pfannenstiel claimed first place with four wins.
Senior Jill Taylor went 4-0 claiming the first place spot in number two singles action.
Juniors Megan Bird and Janae Gagnon also went undefeated with a 4-0 record to grab first in number two doubles action.
The varsity girls tennis team will be back in action hosting its home meet Thursday, Sept. 1.
