Musical auditions to begin Sept. 9
Auditions for this year’s musical “All Shook Up”, featuring the music of Elvis Presley, will begin Sept. 9. Actual performances will take place Nov. 14-17 at 12th St. Auditorium.
“I’m excited for Mr. Matlock and Brenda Meder directing it because they are awesome people,” junior Quinlan Brungardt said.
Sophomore Madelyn Norris is thrilled to watch the performance.
“I am excited about the 50’s theme and excited to see my friends perform on stage,” Norris said.
Musical Director Johnny Matlock praised this year’s musical.
“It’s going to be great music,” Matlock said. “Fifties music is really fun, and I think the cast will really enjoy putting on the show.”
If students still can’t decide whether or not to participate in the musical, they’re not the only ones.
“All my friends are in it and they want me to try to,” freshman Alayna Arnhold said.
