The Northwest District KMEA auditions for band, orchestra and choir are set for Nov. 1 at Hays High.

The students participating have been preparing themselves for the auditions. The audition process begins by getting a name tag that has your information on it for vocal students. The band and orchestra students will be recorded by their instructors or their private tutors and then sent in for district placement.

Students who make district for band and orchestra means a live audition is needed to see if they will make state. When choir students go in for the district auditions, the recording in the room where they auditioning will be used for state placement in KMEA.
