The 2016 Spring Play is “You Can’t Take It With You” by Moss Hart and George Kaufman.

In this play, Tony (the attractive young son of the Kirbys) falls in love with Alice Sycamore. However, the Sycamores seem to be completely crazy compared to the rest of the world. But even through their differences, Tony will not give her up, and in the end Mr. Kirby is converted to the happy madness of the Sycamore family.

Tony Kirby will be played by sophomore Ryan Will and his female counterpart (Alice Sycamore) will be played by junior Anniston Weber.

The mother of Alice, the eccentric Penelope Sycamore, will be played by junior Madison Crees. Senior Jared Thom will play the part of Grandpa and Paul Sycamore will be played by sophomore Dawson Rooney. Essie Sycamore, daughter of Penelope, will be played by sophomore Erin Muirhead and her male counterpart (Ed) will be played by senior Michael Ploutz. Rheba, the Sycamore’s maid, will be played by senior Fengxue (Sylina) Zhang and her male counterpart (Donald) will be played by senior Tanner Moore.

Mr. and Mrs. Kirby will be played by senior Ben Sadler and junior Kristen Nease. Boris Kolenkov, Essie’s dance teacher, will be played by senior Trenton Potter. Sophomore Eric Adams will play Mr. De Pinna. Senior Briana Mathias will play the part of Olga, and sophomore Amiyah Gonzalez will play the part of Henderson. Visiting actress Gay Wellington will be played by sophomore Shelby Knoll.

Junior Jordyn Dake, senior Nikki Vuong, and freshman Rebekah Porter will play the part of FBI agents.
