Student Council officers announced for next year

Next year the Student Council President will be junior Trinity Callis, Vice President will be junior Dusty Schneider, the Secretary will be junior Brendan Chapman, the Publicity Rep will be junior Kaitlyn Schaben and the Treasurer will be junior Lisa Schoenberger.

The senior President will be Mikayla Koerner and the senior Vice Presidents will be Taya Randle and Faith Ewert. Kallie Leiker will be the junior President and Scout Perryman and Peyton Thorell will be the junior Vice Presidents. The sophomore President will be Madelyn Waddel and the sophomore Vice Presidents will be Nathan Leiker and Paige Beamer.

“I am very excited about the position I got,” Waddel said. “I have a lot to learn, but it will get better. I just want to make this school great and for everyone to enjoy high school.”

Kallie feels very honored to have received such a position.

“I have wanted to be in this leadership position for several years now,” Kallie said. “It has been a goal of mine because I want to make a difference at the school and represent my class.”

Beamer is very happy with the position she got and plans to help out in any way she can next year.

“I wanted to join Student Council to make changes in the organization,” Nathan said. “I got the position I wanted so I am pleased. I plan to increase and maintain the number of people involved with Student Council and the people that go to their events.”

Callis is also honored to have been appointed next year’s President, and is very excited for the new year.

“I plan on creating a simple environment for our students that allows for their output and involvement in projects and plans,” Callis said. “I’m looking forward to next year and hope to make Student Council even better than it was before.”
