School wide Diaper Drive update

The Diaper Drive has collected several diapers as of this date, with 1,376 diapers collected of their 2,000 diapers goal.  The deadline for collecting them is narrowing however, as in two days the drive will be over.

Instructor Sue Ann Tebo, the one leading the drive, admitted that she is bribing the kids in her class with the promise of extra credit if they bring diapers or money for their cause before Friday. It is very effective because Tebo also said that the number of donations collected is increasing almost by the hour.

Many students are assisting with the drive in her class, for example Kamree Markley, who was wearing her No child’s wet behind t-shirt today.

“It hasn’t been that difficult so far,” said Markley.

Markley also said she and other students helping with the drive, are satisfied with what they’ve done so far. Hopefully, Tebo’s promise of better letter grades will encourage more students to come in and donate before the final deadline is here, she hopes.
