The boys placed 28th at state in Topeka.
In the 200 IM preliminary, junior Nathan Adams placed 16th in a time of 2:21.12. In the 200 IM finals, Adams placed 16th with a time of 2:21.09.
Sophomore Connor Hess competed in the 100 Back. In the preliminary Hess placed 15th with a time of 1:03.82. In the finals, Hess placed 14th in a time of 1:04.81.
In the 50 Free preliminary, sophomore Derek Drees and junior Trever Rohn placed 22nd and 32nd. Their times were 24.12 and 25.32.
Sophomore Blake Mathews placed 21st with a time of 5:50.60 in the preliminary 500 Free.
In the 100 Breast preliminary Adams placed 18th with a time of 1:11.42.
“I’m particularly proud of how much time the boys 400 freestyle relay took off,” coach Noland Forsythe said. “Next season i hope to increase the number of guys I take with me to state, take to finals, and most importantly get more guys out on the team and in the water.”
