The USD489 News team has tried to stray from strict, business projects and create a more fun atmosphere for the students, instructor Dan Balman said.

He encourages students to not take the class too seriously and use their imagination to create entertaining projects for viewers to watch.

Sophomore Maddie Lohmeyer decided she would take a trip to Roosevelt Elementary School to interview the students there.

She asked students questions such as if they had jokes to tell, had any hidden talents, what they would do with $100 and more.
